Using an ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter)

BladeWare FoIP can connect to an analog telephone line via an ATA.  When configuring this type of connection, you need to take account of the following items to configure for incoming calls:

In the CFHWL License Manager

To receive inbound telephone numbers sent in-band at the start of the call, you need to select HDID, Type 16, and the number of incoming digits on the CopiaFacts Channels page in CFHWL:

In FAXFACTS.CFG

To allow time to collect incoming digits, we recommend overriding the default timeout of five seconds using $tone_wait:

$tone_wait 8

Add the command above to FAXFACTS.CFG.  The value may need to be adjusted depending on the number of digits to be collected.
