CopiaFacts™ Reference Manual

In a CopiaFacts standard or custom script, the AD_STATE variable can be used to determine whether AD variables are available for use.

You can use this variable, when appropriate, instead of needing to check each ADU_ variable for a non-empty value.  All CopiaFacts user variables, including ADU_ variables, will return an empty value if they have not been defined.

The variable can be used in any script or call processing to determine the status of the AD interface. It can have the following values:

NOT_USEDThere is no valid $ad_connect configuration command in FAXFACTS.CFG.
NO_AUTOADP_FAX is NONE (for an inbound fax) or ADP_EMAIL is NONE (for an inbound e-mail), or ADP_LOGIN is NONE (for an FFCLIENT-originated outbound fax or e-mail). The variable will remain in this state unless you use $ad_get_user in a script.
NO_MATCHAn automatic look-up, or $ad_get_user, has failed to find a match for the User, in a fax or e-mail transaction. In a $worker_box script created from a separate FS file (not a fax or e-mail FS file), this value indicates that neither an ADU_CN nor an ADU_NAME user variable has been found.
MATCHED A matched AD User has been found in a fax or e-mail transaction, and ADU_ variables are available.  In a $worker_box script created from a separate FS file (not a fax or e-mail FS file), this value indicates that either an ADU_CN or an ADU_NAME user variable has been found.
