User Profiles for Fax-on-Demand

The first example is used for a call-back system. The user operations allow both request and callback operations. A password must be given but is not checked. The caller’s phone number is requested at the end of selection. Only five documents may be selected:

$image_locn   0 99999999 @FFBASE\image

$image_locn   A ZZZZZZZZ @FFBASE\image

$user_op      request|outbound

$caller_id    3 10 2 NULL

$max_image    5

$fax_phone_last

$fax_header   "Copia CopiaFacts Fax on Demand System "

$cover_sheet  @FFBASE\test.gct

The next example allows the caller to select one-call or callback operation. A password must be given and must be found in PIN.NDX. International callbacks are barred, but (if no other phone masks are included in the configuration file) the line could be used for fax server operations for international calls. Remote image update is allowed (if the caller selects onecall):

$image_locn   0 99999999 @FFBASE\image

$image_locn   A ZZZZZZZZ @FFBASE\image

$user_op      onecall|request|outbound

$fax_header   "Copia CopiaFacts Fax on Demand System "

$caller_id    3 10 2 pin.ndx

$cover_sheet  @FFBASE\test.gct

$update_image 3323 n y

$phone_mask   - 00XXXXXXXXX ; bar international calls from UK

$phone_mask   - 00XXXXXXXXXX

$phone_mask   - 00XXXXXXXXXXX

$phone_mask   - 00XXXXXXXXXXXX

$phone_mask   - 00XXXXXXXXXXXXX

In this example the line operations are taken from the configuration file defaults. Only one document can be selected:

$image_locn   0 99999999 q:\faxfacts\image

$max_image    1

$fax_header   "Copia CopiaFacts Fax on Demand System "

$vmsg_dir     @FFBASE\voice

$cover_sheet  @FFBASE\test.gct

The next example is for onecall fax-on-demand and allows five documents to be selected. A special voice message directory is used:

$user_op      onecall

$image_locn   0 99999999 q:\faxfacts\image

$image_locn   A ZZZZZZZZ q:\faxfacts\image

$max_image    5

$fax_header   "Copia CopiaFacts Fax on Demand System "

$vmsg_dir     @FFBASE\spanish

This example is used for inbound faxmail into a nominated mailbox (3090). This user profile would normally be given a numeric .USR filename and would be selected by DID.

$image_locn   0 99999999 q:\faxfacts ; directory for stored images

$user_op      receive

$auto_call    3090

$fax_header   "630-924-3090 "

$vsmg_dir     @FFBASE
