This broadcast type combines SMS and e-mail in a single broadcast.  Broadcast list items which have a phone number in the specified 'destination' column will be processed as for an SB broadcast, and those which have an e-mail address in the same specified column will be processed as for an EB broadcast

Normally there will be an $sms_body command to supply the SMS message text, and $email_body and $email_altbody commands to supply e--mail body text.  Even if the text is the same, both types of command must be supplied. Individual lines of text can also be supplied on $sms_text, $email_text and $email_alttext commands respectively.  This text is always pre-processed at transmit time to expand variables, which should be introduced (by default) with the accent grave character (`).

In most cases, you will also need to define SMS_ variables which will be specific to the SMS provider used.

For details of setting up SMS transmissions, see Sending SMS Messages.
