Display COM Port and Modem Information

SHOWCOMPORT [COMn]

This utility is used to display available COM Ports and modems installed on a Computer.  It uses (and requires CF8WMI.DLL to interrogate the Windows Management Information database).

The parameters on this command are used as follows:

(none)The program lists each available COM Port.  If a Modem is detected on the port, its Description (Caption property) is displayed, and an AT command AT+FCLASS=? is sent to the modem to determine the supported fax classes, if any.  Failure to respond to this will time out after 30 seconds.
COMnThe complete configuration of the Port is listed from the WMI database.  No access is made to the port.
